Workplace bullying and sexual harassment prevention
Attorney Hsu has long been involved in workplace bullying and sexual harassment prevention work and has been invited to give lectures across a range of industries, helping organizations build a correct understanding of the issues, the relevant laws and the complaint-handling mechanisms.
The lectures draw on real cases to explain what workplace bullying and workplace sexual harassment are, common forms of conduct, an employer’s duties to prevent and respond, and how employers or employees can respond when a problem arises, so that participants learn to recognize such conduct and understand boundaries.
In practice, Attorney Hsu currently serves as an investigation committee member in multiple workplace sexual harassment investigations and, since the new workplace bullying rules took effect, has taken part in more than ten workplace bullying investigations and consultations. Attorney Hsu is familiar with the investigation process, evidence collection and party interviews, emphasizes procedural fairness, confidentiality and lawful procedure throughout, and can offer concrete, workable improvement recommendations based on the findings. Combining lecture and investigation experience, Attorney Hsu provides support from prevention through handling, helping employers comply with the law in completing an investigation and build a friendly, mutually respectful workplace.
